Recreational and Medical Marijuana is Readily Available in Tucson, AZ

With the passage of Proposition 207 or the Smart and Safe Act, 2021 began the sale of recreational marijuana in Arizona. In January, every cannabis dispensary in Tucson was legally able to sell marijuana with or without a medical marijuana prescription. Anyone buying marijuana in the state must be 21 years of age and have a valid ID.

Cannabis, while includes hemp and marijuana, is known to have properties that foster health and well-being. As an herbal remedy, cannabis can reduce pain and inflammation, reduce muscle spasms and seizures, relieve nausea, insomnia and improve mood. Now, anyone can reap the benefits without the need for a prescription, or by risking arrest.

The active ingredient in marijuana is THC, and that compound, along with CBD, can be distilled from the plants. The extract can then be made into tinctures, oils, and edibles for those who prefer not to smoke. In addition to flowers, every cannabis dispensary in Tucson also carries a wide range of other cannabis products.

Proposition 207 has opened up other areas of the economy too, such as home cannabis growing. The new law allows for six marijuana plants per person or a dozen per household. Entrepreneurs are already selling small greenhouses and other supplies for the homegrown market.

But, many cannabis dispensaries in Tucson and across the state have been growing their own marijuana for many years. This makes growing organic, all-natural cannabis easy, and also ensures the highest quality. Arizonans are lucky to where quality cannabis is readily available.
